Who operates Solunak

Solunak is an independent moon phase calendar published under the Solunak brand. The publisher acts as data controller for the limited personal data described below. No separate legal entity is currently registered for the project; for any privacy matter, contact hello@solunak.com.

This privacy policy is published in English only. If you read Solunak in Spanish, French or Portuguese and need clarification, please reach out to us at the email above.

What Solunak is

Solunak publishes moon phase calendars in Spanish, French, Portuguese and English. The public calendar pages show lunar phase dates, local reference times and related navigation. Solunak does not offer user accounts, comments, forms or other features that would collect data you provide directly.

Personal data we process

Solunak processes only the limited personal data that arises from a normal web visit:

Solunak does not request or store your name, email address, phone number, postal address, account credentials or payment data, because the site has no feature that would collect them. The only personal data you intentionally provide is the email content you send to us at hello@solunak.com.

Server logs

The hosting environment may record technical request logs (URL, timestamp, IP address, user agent and HTTP status). These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and crawling diagnostics. They are typically retained for a limited period in line with the hosting provider's defaults and are not used for advertising or profiling.

Analytics

Solunak uses Google Analytics 4 on the root language selector and public calendar pages to understand aggregate usage, such as which language versions and calendar pages are visited. The privacy page and 404 pages do not load analytics.

Google acts as a processor for analytics data; aggregate reports are used to improve the site. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by installing the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by using browser controls such as Do Not Track or by withdrawing consent where a consent dialog is shown.

Advertising

Public calendar pages may display Google AdSense advertising. The root language selector, privacy page and error pages do not display AdSense ads.

Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to Solunak or other websites. Google advertising cookies help Google and its partners serve ads to users based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ad Settings. You can also learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at Google partner sites policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

Google services may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, ad measurement and ad personalization depending on your settings, region and browser controls.

Other third-party ad vendors or ad networks may also use cookies to serve ads on Solunak. Where those vendors offer their own opt-out controls, you can visit their websites to manage cookies used for personalized advertising. In addition, you can use industry opt-out portals to manage personalized advertising from many participating vendors at once: YourAdChoices (Digital Advertising Alliance, US) and Your Online Choices (EDAA, Europe). Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies from individual sites.

Consent for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

Solunak does not operate its own consent management platform. Consent for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland is handled through Google's AdSense Privacy & messaging tools: when configured in the AdSense panel, a Google-managed consent message is shown before personalized advertising is served. Your choice in that message determines how AdSense serves ads (personalized or non-personalized). Where Google's consent controls apply to analytics or ad measurement, those services follow the consent state provided through Google's implementation; Solunak does not currently propagate consent signals to other services through its own code.

You can revisit your choice at any time through Google's consent controls, by visiting Google Ad Settings or by clearing site data and reloading a calendar page in the EEA, UK or Switzerland. Opting out of personalized ads through the controls described above is independent of the AdSense consent message.

Your rights

If the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

Because Solunak does not store user accounts or directly identifying records, requests usually concern the limited technical data described above or correspondence you sent us. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@solunak.com. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority.

International data transfers

Google Analytics and Google AdSense are operated by Google entities located outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred internationally through these services, Google relies on its own legal mechanisms (including Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures) as described in Google's privacy and security documentation.

Children

Solunak is a general-audience reference site about moon phases and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Solunak does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through any contact with us, please write to hello@solunak.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the site changes (for example, when a new analytics or advertising tool is added, or when consent mechanisms change). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be reflected on this page; we encourage you to review the policy periodically.
